How Much Will It Cost to Ship My Vehicle?
The cost to ship your vehicle** will depend on the registered weight and the destination. Young Brothers has three automobile rates based on the registered weight of the vehicle:
**As stated in Tariff 5A, an "Automobile" is
- Any four-wheeled, rubber tired, self-propelled motor vehicle
- In operable condition designed for transport on public streets
and highways - Does not exceed 7 feet in height at the highest point
- Does not exceed 8 feet in width at the widest point
- Does not exceed 20 feet in length at the longest point
One Way Vehicle Rates To/From Honolulu
In addition, Young Brothers has discounted Round Trip Return rates
for vehicles returned to the port of origin within 30 days of availability at the port of destination. The shipper must provide proof of the
prior movement.

Current Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA)
Discounted Return Rate within 30 days
Must provide previous booking reference number to qualify for discounted return rate.
Vehicles traveling between the islands other than Honolulu (i.e. Kahului to Kawaihae) are considered "Tran-shipped Cargo" and are subject to an additional 25% freight cost as stated in Tariff 5-A.
NOTE: The above rates do not include tax, insurance, wharfage fee, or fuel adjustment (if any).

Vehicles subject to the Roll-On/Roll Off Cargo rate is based on a cubic measurement foot rate. Actual freight charges may be found in the Tariff 5-A. All cargo movements are subject to wharfage.
