Community Advisory Grant
SWelcome. Thank you for visiting our website for the Community Advisory Grants of Young Brothers, Ltd. (YB). During the 100 plus years we have been in business, YB has supported numerous community needs over the years.
We want to strengthen YB's community gift giving commitment by providing a more formal way of contributing. Therefore, YB has established Community Advisory Boards (CAB) for the counties of Hawaii, Kauai and Maui. Leading citizens have been asked to volunteer on the CABs to give us feedback on their communities. Since the program's inception in 2001, YB contributed a total of nearly $900,000 to approximately 920 non-profit organizations throughout the state of Hawaii through this gift-giving program.
Charitable organizations must be designated 501(c)3 by the Internal Revenue Service. Projects eligible for grants are in the categories of health, education, civic and community services, youth activities, cultural enrichment, environment and special community projects.
Young Brothers, Limited is now accepting grant applications from non-profit community organizations for its Community Gift Giving Program. Please refer to the news release for the specific county you are interested in applying for a grant through.
